Eighty Seven Prizes:
Since the formation of the workshops in 1988 the Jazzmania the Jazz Focus Big Bands the Jazz Kidz the Jazz Juniors and the Jazz Generation led by Peter Guidi have won a total of EIGHTY SEVEN prizes in national and international big band and music competitions. The Jazzmania Big Band has won:
1st PRIZE: 'EUROPEAN BIG BAND COMPETITION', held in the former West Berlin in May 1988, the year in which it was European Culture Capital.

The 'Holland Jazz Feel Good Award' was awarded to Peter Guidi in February 2004 for his work in promoting jazz music in The Netherlands.
On 29 April 2010 Peter Guidi was named in the Dutch Queens' birthday honours list and was awarded a knighthood
Knight In The Order Of Oranje-Nassau for his pioneering work in jazz education and promotion in the Netherlands.
